- Extra Time Concession: Sports students are granted additional time during exams and assessments to accommodate their training and competition schedules.

We ensure that our students receive a comprehensive education geared towards enriching the creative mind and physical body. The co-curricular activities are graded by teachers on a 5-point scale on the following parameters - regularity, sincere participation, deliverables, and teamwork.

Club Activities
An array of activities are planned through out the year to keep the end of a week light and fun. These are held during the last period on Fridays. The activities include Needle Work, Quiz, Book Reading, Wealth Out of Waste, Public Speaking, Fireless Cooking, Origami, Mandala Art to name a few. Children engage in these activities all through the year.

Horizon Competitions
Children are encouraged to participate in Inter House Competitions as a means to showcase their talents. These competitions are designed by keeping in mind maximum participation from the children. The judges are brought in from outside who also help in giving a feedback for improvement. The competitions range from traditional ones like Essay Writing, Just a Minute, Rangoli, Talent Shows to more new age ones such as Reel Making, Mandala and Rangoli.

Experiential Camps
At Sherwood Hall we truly believe that learning happens outside the four walls of the classroom too. Each year the students of Grades 4-12 are sent out for Experiential Camps where fun and learning go hand in hand. The camps have been in South India in places like Kodai Kanal, Munnar, Idukki, Vishakapatnam, Hyderabad to all the way in the North - Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

Interact Club
The Interact Club is a part of the Rotary International are self-governed and self-supported groups that organise and participate in community service projects. As a part of the Interact Club, students develop leadership skills, imbibe values of personal responsibility and hard work, displaying compassion and respect for each other and other members of the community.

Career Talks
The purpose of a good school is to prepare the students for the real life. As a part of this goal we conduct regular Career Talks by experts from various fields. These experts are hand picked keeping in mind that students can relate to young achievers closer to their age. Apart from the regular professions such as Doctor and Engineer , we also call in Professionals who are Chartered Accountant, Hotel Management, Start Up Entrepreneur , Website Designing etc.

Sherwood Hall was founded by Mrs Olga Frohlich, an educationist and a Visionary. Her love for children and education prompted her to found the School in June 1971. It started as a small school with the Nursery Section and classes 1 to 7.
